MERCADO SUN Parachute yellow
This material has already had three lives.
First, artists Melyssa Lim and Asas Maas @melyso repurposed discarded parachute scraps—the same ones we use for our bags—to sew a large inflatable sun for Rizomes, a music festival in Cellera de Ter, Spain.
Then, we took it apart and recycled it to give it a new form: reusable fabric bags.
Each bag is unique: it retains small traces of its previous life, such as seams, marks, or slight variations in the fabric, which tell the story of the material.
The result is an ultra-lightweight and durable bag, perfect not only for grocery shopping but also for the beach, the gym, or everyday use.
It folds easily to fit in your handbag, and you can carry it either by hand or over your shoulder.
